Movie Review

The movie was a very good one.  I thought it showed the circus in a correct light and had all the major scenes from the book.  I really enjoyed the characters, although i thought Mr. Twilight was probably not best suited for the role.  He did a good job none the less.  Marlena was perfectly portrayed, although I may think that because I saw the movie before I read the book. I also think that August was shown well.  I think it might have been a better movie if they hadn't taken out Uncle Al, because then August could have followed the book more, because the book was excellent.  I absolutely loved the book, it was graphic, gritty, and fantastic! The movie did it justice and I was happy with it.

POV of August

Everything is so hectic and crazy.  We got Jacob who is a great vet and would-be friend, but the bastard has eyes for my dear sweet Marlena!  And I think my dearest may have eyes for him as well.  I see them together all the time.  He is always touching and staring at my sweetheart.  I try to be nice to both of them and this how they treat me?!  I am friendly and hospitable and they cheat me!  Sure sometimes I may lose it a bit, but it's because I am so stressed with managing everything and now I have to keep an eye on my own wife!  There surely is no worse thing!  Then there is that damn bull that does nothing and it drives me insane!  I try so hard and all I get in return is a ton of money lost, while all the thing does is eat and sleep!  I really do feel bad when I lose it and hurt her, but it just can't be helped sometimes.  I feel like I am losing everything.

Cricus Thoughts

Well, when I was a wee laddy I had never been to the Circus, but I had been to the fair so I thought the Circus would be fun kinda like that.  I also thought the Circus was full of mean people because I had watched Dumbo many times and everyone was mean to him. So when I read all of this stuff about the Circus and it being filled with mean people, I wasn't surprised.

Morals of FG

I think that one of the morals of Forrest Gump is that life will take you where you do not want to go, but you have to just keep trying to get to where you want to go and eventually you will get there.  I really enjoyed the story of Forrest Gump, but I do have one issue with it.  I had seen the movie when I was younger and I always thought of the story as a real life story, but when we read the book it went into this outlandish type of story where Forrest does everything.  Other than that, I found Forrest Gump a great book.

Halloween Memory

I have on memory from a few years ago during freshman year's Halloween.  It started off a regular Halloween with Colten and Tom coming over to my saying that we are gonna be gangsters this year.  This turned out to be one fatal mistake.  We gathered our homies Shay and Grant and were on our way to wander and trick or treat.  Well during this, we were wandering past the Grade school and passed some kids.  One of them was a fossum on a long board.  Our fellow thug, Tom, jokingly threatened the boy with an airsoft gun as we walked by.  He said "gimmie your long board.".  We kept walking and thought nothing of it.  But apparently the boys father thought that we were real ciminals and called the police.  We were picked up at the park and in the end Tom recieved a felony and the rest of us received misdemeanors.

GRAPE, a sunday in the life of a nerd.

A typical sunday.  My average sunday goes like this.  I awajken between 6-10 a.m. depending on how late i was up.  Normally wake up closer to 7 if i went to bed before 2 a.m.  Anyway, I wake up and reach over my chair and grab my cell phone that i forgot to plug in the night before.  I turn on and watch a youtube video while I wait for my slow messageing system to wake up.  After that I get up and play video games for about an hour.  Then I go downstairs and use the bathroom.  Then I go upstairs and play video games for the rest of the day, unless I am bothered by one of my friends to do something.  I go to bed at 9 and text till 10 or 11.  Then I fall asleep.

WILD RUMPUS TIME!!!

Dear Diary,
Although i know you consider me to be the most well behaved angel ever put on this great earth, I have to admit to you that I may have a sorta wild side.  Now wait!  Before you yum to conclusions, I want you to know that it only shows up as often as a blue moon.  AND! It is COMPLETELY not my fault.  OK, here it goes.  Once upon a time I was in the show, listening to my pumping beats.  There was but one problem, a certain evil lady in my house had the demonic urge to open all the windows during the night, thus making the air inside the house as frigid as the Arctic poles.  Anyway, I had just removed myself from my steaming haven, toweled off, and begun my search for clothing.  There were none in the bathroom so I began my exit from the bathroom when two things happened.  One, a very fast paced and exciting song came on.  Ya know, the one that gets inside your head and makes you wanna go crazy.  And two, the Arctic air of the rest of my house had just assaulted my unclothed body.  In that instant I knew that I needed cloths or I would not make it.  I sprinted, screaming, through my house to my living room.  I had my eyes set on a basket, normally filled with fresh cloths.  Alas this basket was as bare as my bottom!  I grabbed the basket, raised it over my head, and made a battle cry while flinging it onto the couch.  My last hope was my room, aaaaallllllllllllllll the way up stairs.  I made a mad dash for the stairs, scrambling up them like an ape up a tree.  Unfortunately my dog Halo, a 90 pound adorable mutt wanna-be lap dog, had decided to see wtf is going on down stairs.  We collided 3/4ths of the way up, I attempted to jump over him.  At the same moment he had decided to try and escape by running up the stairs.  I landed atop him, he let out a yelp of surprise and I a war cry!  I managed to make it up stairs through the wreckage of this collision.  Halo still running around freaking out, and myself dashing for my cloths rack.  BUT WHAT IS THIS?!!  MY CLOTHS RACK IS EMPTY!  This information hit me like a 900 pound sumo wrestler, but it could not defeat me.  I had one last final hope of survival.  My bed.  I lunged for it like a tiger, as grace full and majestic as a naked barbarian can be.  I looked forward in flight, eyes gleaming at the prize ahead.  That's when I saw it.  My small black dog, Scottie, had heard all the commotion and taken refuge in the luscious covers of my bed.  I slammed into my bed like a sack of bricks.  Luckily Scottie was able to avoid me, but only by launching herself off the bed into my cloths basket.  On the verge of safety, I burrowed into my blankets and was finally safe. See diary, I was a victim of circumstance.

                           Love,
                                  Quinn S. Seitz

(P.S.  This all happened in about a 30second time period.)

MOVIE REVIEW YO.

The Movie was not as good as the book.  Just wanted to say that before I begin.  I enjoyed the movie and I think it was well filmed, but I wish that they would not have left so many parts out of the film.  I was also hoping that they would have had a dramatic end to Paul.  I really enjoyed Brad Pitt as Paul, he played his part well and was like how i had imagined Paul.  As for Norman, I cannot say as much.  The actor did fine, but for some reason I did not like him.  He just kind of annoyed me, and he has weird facial expressions.  I envisioned more of a cool and silent older brother.  Norman was just not up to par.  I enjoyed Jessie's actor, but do not like the fact that they were not married in the movie.  Their mother and father were perfect.  Better than I had seen in my head.  As for the films direction, it went along the plot correctly, although leaving some things out, and looked pretty good.  The movie was not super entertaining, but neither was the book.  Obviously its not going to be as good as the block buster films we have now n' days.  It was good to read the book and see the film, but I cannot say it was life changing.

Free Write Quotes

"You can love completely without complete understanding."
I think that this quote is very true.  I think that this happens with alot of people we hold dear.  It is very easy to love something completely without fully understanding it.  For example, you can love someone, but when you think about it and as yourself why, you may not have a very deep answer.  If you were to keep thinking about it, you may find that you do not even know or understand the person that well.  People are very hard to fully understand because there are so many complexities with them.  Everyone is raised and taught differently, everyone reacts to things differently, and everyone looks at things differently.  To learn all of those habits, reactions, and quirks, it takes a very long time is a challengeing thing to accpomplish.  Where as love can come very easily to some people.  They can let someone be close to them and love them, but have no idea who that person really is.

Blue Rasberry flavor o' deliciooooouusssssneesssssss

Rhyme Time

In 20 years I will be

Standing alone on a boat at sea.

It wasn't always just me,

I used to stand here with Stevie.

But now sadly he swims with the sharks

Because I didn't like his dog's barks.

Life is hard when it's only me,

Standing alone on a boat at sea.

The restoration of one's soul.

To restore my bogged down soul to its once glorious self I enjoy taking a luxurious hot shower accompanied with the sounds of nature, brought to me through a brilliant house orifice some may refer to as a window.  Other times when a rejuvenating down pour of life giving water is unavailable. I enjoy laying myself down onto a cloud like object that ceases any need for bodily exertion.  Once again others simply consider this object a bed.  While relaxing in the motionless dream state, I enjoy gazing upward at a dark blue wall, allowing my brain to enter a thoughtless trance of tranquility.  Commonly mistaken for a nap, I do not fall asleep nor do I remain awake, I am merely being.  Thus these things, among others, restore my soul to its glorious self.
P.S (this story is not to be taken completely serious...unless you want to)
